The training course for new basketball referees has concluded in the city of Benghazi, under the supervision of the Eastern Region’s Subcommittee for Referees.
The course was held at the Canadian Academy over the course of a week, with the participation of 18 referees. The trainees received theoretical lectures and practical training.

The Eastern Region’s Subcommittee for Referees is an administrative body responsible for overseeing and training sports officials within its geographic jurisdiction. Its history is tied to the development of organized sports leagues in the region, where it was established to standardize officiating and ensure fair play.
Canadian Academy
The Canadian Academy is a private international school located in Kobe, Japan, founded in 1913.
