Tripoli, December 21, 2025 – The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya met today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the European Union to Libya to review efforts aimed at achieving economic stability in Libya and supporting reforms to expand trade and investment between Europe and Libya, according to a post on the X platform.
The post stated: “I commended the Central Bank of Libya’s commitment to financial sustainability and comprehensive development across the country, and I reaffirmed the European Union’s steadfast support for the reform program championed by the Governor through targeted technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives.”

Tripoli
Tripoli is the capital and largest city of Libya, located on the country’s Mediterranean coast.
