The Minister of Oil held talks with executives from TotalEnergies to enhance cooperation and expand oil and gas projects, as the country seeks to increase production.
Khalifa Abdulsadek met with senior company officials in Tripoli, including Julien Pouget, Head of Exploration and Production for the Middle East and North Africa region, along with the company’s representatives in Libya.
The discussions focused on TotalEnergies’ current operations in Libya, its future development plans, and ways to increase production and expand cooperation in line with the government’s strategy to boost the energy sector.
During the meeting, Simon Dessendrier was officially introduced as the company’s new head in Libya, marking the continuation of its partnership with the ministry.
Tripoli
