Tripoli, December 16, 2025 – The Libyan Ambassador to Serbia, Mohamed Ben Ghalboun, met with Serbian Prime Minister Goro Matsut to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of developing political dialogue and intensifying high-level visits, which contribute to supporting common interests and strengthening the historical relations linking Libya and Serbia.

The Serbian Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the holding of the Serbian-Libyan Business Forum in Belgrade on December 10 and 11, in addition to the same forum being held in January of this year in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. He pointed out the important role of these events in enhancing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Tripoli

Tripoli is the capital and largest city of Libya, located on the country’s Mediterranean coast.
