Tripoli, December 11, 2025 – The Dar Al Funoun (House of Arts) in Tripoli will host a new exhibition by the prominent Libyan plastic artist and critic, Adnan Bashir Miteiq, titled “Objective Impressions,” starting this Saturday.
The exhibition will open at 5:00 PM in the hall of the Dar located on Al-Sikka Road, as part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to support the Libyan plastic art movement and highlight contemporary artistic experiences.
Miteiq, born in Misrata in 1968, is one of the most notable critical voices in the Libyan and Arab plastic art scene. He has enriched cultural journalism with his articles and analyses for over fifteen years in major Arab and Libyan newspapers and magazines. He has also managed the specialized blog “Makamen Al Daw'” (Sources of Light) focusing on art criticism since 2009.
This new exhibition, the artist’s fifth, offers the public an opportunity to explore his unique plastic art experience, which is expected to reflect the depth of his critical vision and artistic skill.
The “Objective Impressions” exhibition will continue at Dar Al Funoun until December 20, 2025, and is anticipated to attract significant cultural and artistic attendance, given the influential stature of Adnan Bashir Miteiq as both a critic and an artist.
