Tripoli, February 21, 2026 – Branches of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Central Region, the Western Mountain, and the Western Coast have distributed Ramadan meat baskets to eligible families as part of social support programs for the holy month of Ramadan.
The distribution process was carried out under the direct follow-up of the Minister of Social Affairs and in implementation of the instructions of the head of the Government of National Unity, as part of the government’s efforts to support low-income families and alleviate living burdens during the holy month.
The distribution operations included municipalities in the Central Region, the Western Mountain, and the Western Coast, according to an organized plan to ensure the fair and transparent delivery of baskets to their rightful recipients, in coordination with local authorities.
This program reflects the ongoing commitment of the Ministry of Social Affairs to supporting the Libyan family and promoting the values of social solidarity, contributing to the provision of urgent assistance to those in need during the holy month.
