US President Donald Trump pledged on Friday to resort to alternatives to the comprehensive tariffs that were canceled by the Supreme Court.
Trump said in a press conference, “We will use other alternatives to those that the court wrongly rejected,” adding that these alternatives could generate more revenue.
Trump confirmed that the court’s decision was “very disappointing,” and expressed feeling “deeply disappointed” with some members of the court, which is dominated by “conservatives who supported the ruling against his economic agenda.” He also accused the court of being influenced by “foreign interests” in its decision.
