Barcelona will have an important match next Sunday when they host Levante, as part of the competitions of the twenty-fifth round of the Spanish Football League.

Barcelona must show a strong reaction after presenting relatively modest results recently, as the team suffered two losses in its last two matches across all competitions.

Barcelona suffers two defeats
Barcelona surprisingly lost to Girona 1-2 last Monday, in the Spanish League, and before that had lost by a clean four goals to Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

Barcelona occupies second place with 58 points, and needs to exploit the home and crowd factors at the “Spotify Camp Nou” stadium, to regain the lead or at least continue putting pressure on the leader Real Madrid, who have sixty points.

The Catalan team has been perfect at home in its last six domestic matches, achieving 18 points out of a possible 18, scoring 18 goals and conceding only two, which shows its offensive strength and defensive organization in home matches.

On the other hand, Levante is suffering significantly and occupies last place with 18 points, after achieving only four victories, six draws, and 14 defeats, while scoring only ten goals and conceding 15 goals in its last ten matches, reflecting its offensive weakness and difficulty competing against big teams.
