Benghazi – The committee assigned by the General Command, in coordination with the Libyan government, has begun distributing subsidized meat to twenty-one butcher shops in the city of Benghazi. This initiative is part of a program aimed at supporting citizens and enhancing living stability during the month of Ramadan. The committee confirmed that distribution operations will continue throughout the month to include various cities.

The announced prices for subsidized meat during Ramadan include selling a kilogram of lamb meat for 45 dinars, while a kilogram of veal fillet is priced at 40 dinars. A kilogram of bone-in veal is sold for 35 dinars.

This measure comes as part of governmental efforts to alleviate the living burdens on families amidst rising food costs.
