Tripoli – The Brega Oil and Gas Marketing Company announced the city of Al-Marj has joined the direct distribution points system for cooking gas cylinders, as part of its efforts to ensure regular supplies and secure the needs of citizens in the central and eastern regions.

The company stated in a post on its Facebook page that Al-Marj has seen the implementation of the direct distribution program for gas cylinders under the supervision of the Inspection Department for the Central and Eastern Regions, confirming that distribution operations are carried out according to approved controls to ensure smoothness and fairness in the delivery of supplies to consumers.

The company explained that the inclusion of Al-Marj comes within a plan to expand the direct distribution points system, joining the cities of Tobruk, Derna, and Ras al-Hilal, in a step aimed at enhancing the stability of cooking gas availability and meeting daily consumption requirements.

In a related context, the company mentioned that the city of Sabha witnessed the sale of cooking gas cylinders through direct sales points yesterday, Wednesday, under the supervision of the Inspection Section at the Sabha Oil Depot, where 1,200 cylinders were distributed across four locations including the Al-Jadid, Al-Nasiriya, Al-Tahrir neighborhood, and Al-Manshiya areas.
