Addis Ababa, February 14, 2026 – The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, held bilateral talks today, Saturday, in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali. The discussions addressed issues of peace and security on the African continent.

The two sides also discussed the national reconciliation project adopted by the Presidential Council, which aims to enhance efforts for political stability in Libya, in addition to reviewing files of regional and continental significance.

The talks witnessed an exchange of views on the most prominent regional and international issues of mutual interest.
