Tripoli, February 10, 2026 – The President of the High Council of State discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Libya during a meeting held this Tuesday. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the Council’s permanent committees.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya and the efforts being made to advance the political process towards free and fair elections that would end the transitional phases and achieve lasting stability in the country.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the structured dialogue sponsored by the UN mission were reviewed.
