London

London is the capital of the United Kingdom, a historic city founded by the Romans as *Londinium* nearly two millennia ago. It has since grown into a major global financial and cultural centre, with its history reflected in landmarks like the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and the modern London Eye.

Hoxton

Hoxton is a district in East London, historically known as a working-class area that became a center for furniture-making in the 18th and 19th centuries. In recent decades, it has undergone significant gentrification and is now renowned as a vibrant hub for contemporary art, nightlife, and creative industries.

Belgravia

Belgravia is an affluent district in central London, developed in the early 19th century by the Grosvenor family on what was formerly marshy land known as the “Five Fields.” It is renowned for its grand white stucco terraces, garden squares, and embassies, epitomizing Regency-era elegance and aristocratic London.

Battersea

Battersea is a district in South London, historically known for its Battersea Power Station, a decommissioned coal-fired power plant that operated from the 1930s to 1983. The iconic building, with its distinctive four chimneys, has since been redeveloped into a mixed-use complex of shops, offices, and residences. The area also includes the expansive Battersea Park, which opened in 1858 as part of Victorian efforts to provide green space for the public.

Westminster

Westminster is a historic area in central London, best known for housing the Palace of Westminster, which is the meeting place of the UK Parliament. The site’s political significance dates to the 11th century when Edward the Confessor built a royal palace and Westminster Abbey there, with the abbey remaining the traditional coronation church.
