Reports have revealed the possibility of Trent Alexander-Arnold returning to his former club Liverpool and his intentions regarding the matter, amidst uncertainty about his future with his current club Real Madrid.

He joined Real Madrid from Liverpool last summer, but the player has suffered from injuries that have overshadowed his appearances for the Royal Club. Reports have been conflicting about his status at the Bernabéu, and the 27-year-old has not played since early December due to injury.

Earlier reports claimed that Real Madrid’s new manager had asked Alexander-Arnold to look for a new club this summer, but other reports confirmed this was not true and that the player has his manager’s support.

According to English reports, Liverpool is not at all considering the possibility of bringing Trent Alexander-Arnold back during the upcoming summer transfer window.

A source stated: “Trent is not among the names being discussed at the club at the moment. This is not a slight against him, but the club has invested in Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong and is satisfied with its options.”

He added: “Could the situation change if Alexander-Arnold becomes available on the transfer market? Nothing is impossible in the world of football, but it is very difficult to imagine.”

It is noted that right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has suffered numerous injuries since joining Real Madrid from Liverpool last summer, with his appearances for the team limited to just 16 matches so far.
