Gold prices in Libya recorded a noticeable increase today, Saturday, February 7, 2026, coinciding with the rise in the global price of a gold ounce and the increase of the dollar in the parallel market to 9.10 dinars. This was directly reflected in the prices of scrap, cast, and bullion in the local market.

This rise came after the gold ounce concluded its global trading at the level of $4,966.26, continuing to put pressure on the Libyan market, which relies directly on the movement of the dollar and gold in international markets.
