Sirte – February 6, 2026 – The National Oil Corporation announced this Friday that the Gas Transportation and Supplies Department of the Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company has concluded a series of specialized training courses aimed at enhancing the professional competence of its personnel. This initiative is part of the National Oil Corporation’s plan to develop human resources and achieve the highest levels of performance and readiness.

It was clarified that the training programs, implemented in cooperation with the “Training and Development” and “Safety” departments, included an intensive course for operators of the “Brega Compression Station” and pressure reduction and metering stations. The course focused on honing their skills in working within control rooms, handling external operational conditions, as well as monitoring and effectively resolving technical issues. The program also included advanced field training in firefighting and public safety.

It was added that the implementation of these modules was overseen by a select group of national experts and highly experienced personnel, integrating theoretical aspects with practical applications. This approach ensures the enhancement of participants’ ability to respond swiftly to the demands and fluctuations of field work.

It was noted that at the conclusion of the program, a ceremony was held to honor the participants and distribute certificates of appreciation to them. This was done in recognition of their efforts and dedication to developing their skills, and to boost morale in a way that serves the interests of the work and enhances the company’s productivity across various sites.
