Sirte, February 2, 2026 – The head of the National General Authority for Organ, Tissue, and Cell Transplantation, a member of the accreditation committee at the Arab Council for Health Specializations, visited the Sirte Oncology Treatment Center today to follow up on the readiness of medical and training programs.
Sources at the center explained that the visit included a tour of the general surgery and oncology surgery departments, operating rooms, and clinics. The visit aimed to assess work mechanisms, organizational levels, department preparations, and the available human and medical capabilities.
The head of the National Authority for Organ, Tissue, and Cell Transplantation in Libya, a member of the accreditation committee at the Arab Council for Health Specializations, expressed admiration for the evident readiness, professional organization, and technical and human resources observed, which reflect the efforts made by the center’s management and staff. He emphasized the importance of this level of preparedness in supporting the development paths of medical and training programs.
