Kufra, February 1, 2026 – The Ambulance and Emergency Service announced the recovery of 3 bodies in the desert, approximately 400 km southwest of Kufra.

The service stated via its media office that the recovered bodies belong to two Libyan youths and a Sudanese national. Their vehicles were involved in a traffic accident, leading to a fire southwest of Kufra.
