Arsenal opened the scoring in the 28th minute from a corner executed by Noni Madueke, met by Martin Zubimendi with a powerful header into the net. The second goal came in the 39th minute from another corner by Madueke, where Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow attempted to save the ball but it hit the post and went into the goal. In the 69th minute, Viktor Gyökeres extended Arsenal’s lead after a brilliant cross from Gabriel Martinelli, which he met with his foot into the net.

Arsenal completed the quadruple in the 86th minute with a powerful shot from Gabriel Jesus from inside the penalty area, passing to the left of the goalkeeper into the net. With this victory, Arsenal continued to lead the English Premier League table with 53 points, leading by a margin of seven points over second-placed Manchester City, which will face Tottenham tomorrow in the same round.
