The company stated in a statement that its Board of Directors has directed all technical departments, maintenance, and emergency teams across various regions to activate rapid response plans and enhance field deployment, with a special focus on the western region which is expected to experience weather fluctuations on Sunday and Monday.
The statement clarified that weather forecasts indicate the possibility of active winds with speeds ranging between 60 – 90 km/h, which could negatively affect the performance of some components of the public grid.
The company confirmed in its statement that it has mobilized all its technical, logistical, and human resources, with monitoring and emergency rooms operating around the clock to track developments promptly and ensure a swift response to any emergency faults to maintain service stability and continuity of power supply.
