Tripoli, January 31, 2026 – The Tripoli Central Municipality has urgently appealed to citizens residing in buildings classified as “at risk of collapse” to take necessary precautions or evacuate them temporarily in anticipation of a potential storm.

The municipality stated in a release that the National Meteorological Center indicated in its weather bulletin that the region will be affected tomorrow by a storm accompanied by strong winds that may reach speeds of up to 80 km/h.

The municipality emphasized the importance of adhering to safety guidelines issued by the competent authorities and following official updates promptly.
