Dubai, January 23, 2026 – Al-Ittihad swept past their rivals Al-Nasr Emirates with a score of 106 – 70 in their first match of Group One in the 35th Dubai International Basketball Championship, achieving a decisive victory with a 36-point margin.
The start of the match was evenly contested, with Al-Nasr ending the first quarter ahead 24 – 22, before Al-Ittihad imposed complete control over the course of the game. The Al-Ittihad team secured the second quarter in their favor with a score of 30 – 16, ending the first half ahead 52 – 40.
Al-Ittihad continued their dominance in the third quarter, widening the gap after a strong performance and continuous offensive pressure, scoring 28 points against Al-Nasr’s 19, ending the third quarter with Al-Ittihad leading 80 – 59.
In the fourth quarter, Al-Ittihad maintained their brilliance and surpassed the 100-point mark, despite attempts by Al-Nasr to reduce the deficit, ending the match with a well-deserved victory for Al-Ittihad at 106 – 70.
