Tripoli, January 23, 2026 – The work of the 22nd session of the Libyan-Turkish Joint Ministerial Committee at the level of experts from both countries has commenced in the city of Tripoli.

The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest, and the steps that can be taken to enhance available cooperation opportunities in the fields of trade, investments, cooperation with the private sector, contracting services, industry, scientific cooperation, energy, mining, agriculture, urban planning, transportation, education, and technical cooperation.

The committee will continue its work at the ministerial level tomorrow, Saturday. At the conclusion of the meeting, the minutes of the committee’s meeting will be signed.
