Tripoli, January 22, 2026 – The Competitions Committee of the Libyan Football Federation has addressed the chairmen of the boards of directors of the Premier League clubs, reminding them of the contents of its previous letter dated January 4, 2026, issued under reference number (L.T.M. 2026/172).
The committee clarified in its letter that this is in reference to the Federation’s Board of Directors’ decision number (227) concerning the Libya Cup competition, which stipulates the necessity for participating clubs to pay their registration fees for the 2025–2026 sports season.
It explained that the registration fee amount is 3,000 (three thousand) Libyan dinars, to be paid to the Libyan Football Federation before playing the first match in the competition. The committee also confirmed that, according to the competition’s regulations, the participating club will bear all procedures and penalties resulting from failure to pay the amount by the specified deadline.
