Tripoli, January 22, 2025 – A new book titled “The Image of the Jailer in Libyan Biography” has been published.

The book is the latest publication and is scheduled to be presented during the events of the 57th Cairo International Book Fair.

The book presents an analytical study on the image of the jailer in Libyan biography, focusing on the human and moral distortion that afflicted a group of individuals who worked within a system of repression and political crime.

It reveals how their conscience faded, and they were stripped of their humanity under the weight of the institution they belonged to, making torture and the whip tools in their hands.

This publication is a qualitative addition to the Libyan cultural scene, as it sheds light on a painful experience from the country’s history and reflects the impact of absolute power on human souls.
