Libyan Fatwa House
The Libyan Fatwa House is a state-affiliated religious institution established in 2012 to issue official Islamic legal rulings (fatwas) for the country. It was created to provide a unified and authoritative religious reference point in the post-Gaddafi era, aiming to counter extremist interpretations and promote a moderate understanding of Islam.
Al-Aqsa Mosque
Al-Aqsa Mosque is a major Islamic holy site located in the Old City of Jerusalem, believed to be where the Prophet Muhammad journeyed during the Night Journey. Its construction began in the early 8th century CE under the Umayyad Caliphate, making it one of the oldest mosques in the world. The site, which includes the Dome of the Rock, is also deeply significant in Judaism as the location of the ancient Temple Mount.
