The National Oil Corporation announced that Zueitina Oil Company has successfully restarted the diesel production unit at the Zallah Field. The unit has been restored to high-efficiency operation in record time after years of being offline due to a complex technical fault.

Following the restart, the unit now produces approximately 500 barrels of diesel per day. This output helps meet the field’s operational needs and supports ongoing production activities.

The diesel unit had been out of service since early March 2015 because of the technical malfunction. The recent repairs have allowed the unit to resume operations swiftly.
