Tripoli, January 6, 2025 – Al-Majd Club announced, via its official Facebook page, the suspension of activities for its first football team, which is participating in the Premier League for the current season within the third group.

Al-Majd Club currently holds fourth place in the group standings with four points. The club’s board of directors clarified that the decision to suspend activities came as a result of the financial hardship the club is experiencing, in addition to the current circumstances and weak available capabilities.

The club also pointed to the lack of support from the Ministry of Sports, which has made it difficult for the team to continue competing and to provide the requirements for participation in the league during the current stage.
