The Libyan Boxing Federation continues to organize talent discovery trials in the western, eastern, central, and Al Jabal Al Akhdar regions.
The trials, which target those born in 2008 and 2009, are conducted over the course of one week. Through these trials, the Libyan Boxing Federation aims to select an elite group of prominent boxers from various regions, in order to refine them as required, in preparation for strengthening the national teams for international competitions.

Al Jabal Al Akhdar
Al Jabal Al Akhdar, or “The Green Mountain,” is a mountainous region in northeastern Libya, part of the Nafusa Mountain range. Historically, it served as a refuge for Berber communities and was a significant center of resistance during the Italian colonization of Libya in the early 20th century. Today, it is known for its relatively fertile land, forests, and cooler climate compared to the surrounding desert.
