Al-Nasr team secured the top-of-the-table clash in Group One volleyball in their favor, after an exciting win over their rival Al-Ahli Benghazi, in a strong and marathon match that extended to five full sets, witnessing competitiveness and excitement until the final moments.

The match began in favor of Al-Ahli Benghazi, who managed to clinch the first set by a two-point margin with a score of 26–24, benefiting from high concentration and good finishing in crucial plays.

However, Al-Nasr’s response was not delayed, as they came back strongly in the second and third sets, imposing their technical and physical superiority, and won them with scores of 25–19 and 25–21, turning the tide of the match and taking a lead of two sets to one.

Dominance in the fourth set for Al-Ahli Benghazi
Al-Ahli Benghazi refused to surrender and delivered one of their best sets in the match; they completely controlled the proceedings of the fourth set and concluded it with a score of 25–15, bringing the match back to a tie and forcing a decisive fifth set.

In the final set, Al-Nasr appeared calmer and more focused, and succeeded in clinching it in their favor with a score of 15–12, to secure the final victory with three sets to two, confirming their superiority in the Group One summit clash.


The match was officiated by a refereeing crew. The performance of the officiating team was praised in a match characterized by sensitivity and intensity.

With this victory, Al-Nasr strengthens its position at the top of the group, sending a strong message to its competitors, while Al-Ahli Benghazi left with an honorable loss after a fighting performance that confirms its strong presence in the competition race.
