The Libyan Football Federation has set February 14th as the start date for the indoor football league competitions.

The new season will open with the Libyan Super Cup match on February 12th, which will bring together the league champion, Al-Ittihad Club, and the cup winner, Al-Swehli Club.

The Libyan Football Federation clarified that the indoor football league competitions will officially begin on the 14th of next month.

The federation also set the dates for the two player registration periods. The first period ends on February 10th, while the second period begins on April 10th and ends on the 12th of the same month.

The Libyan Super Cup is an annual football match contested between the winners of the Libyan Premier League and the Libyan Cup. It was first held in 1993, though its history has been intermittent due to political and social instability in the country. The competition serves as the traditional curtain-raiser for the new Libyan football season.
