Tripoli, December 31, 2025 – The First International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Media and Communication at the University of Tripoli concluded its proceedings on Wednesday by awarding a certificate of appreciation to the Libyan News Agency for its contribution to the success of the conference’s events.
A number of academics and media professionals praised the Libyan News Agency during their speeches and participation in the conference events for its professionalism and neutrality in broadcasting news covering all of Libya, as well as its efforts and contribution to the success of this major media event, which aims to establish a media discourse focused on achieving security, stability, and sustainable development.
The First International Conference on the Role of Media in Promoting Stability and Achieving Development was launched in the capital, Tripoli, on Tuesday. It is organized by the Faculty of Media and Communication at the University of Tripoli in cooperation with the Libyan Center for Studies and Policy Making, with the sponsorship of the Libyan News Agency, and with local and international participation from academics, researchers, experts, journalists, and professors of media and journalism from Libyan and Arab universities.
