The Board of Directors of the Libyan Olympic Committee announced that the next General Assembly meeting will be held in March of next year.
The date was set during a meeting held in the conference hall at the headquarters of the Libyan Olympic Committee in Tripoli. The meeting was chaired by the Acting President of the Olympic Committee and First Deputy of the Board of Directors, in the presence of Board members. The meeting also evaluated sports participations during the year 2025, in addition to following up on the topics of investment and the Olympic space.

The Libyan Olympic Committee was established in 1962 and is the national governing body for Olympic sports in Libya, recognized by the International Olympic Committee. It has faced significant challenges, including suspensions from international competition due to political instability and civil conflict within the country.
Tripoli
Tripoli is the capital and largest city of Libya, with a history dating back to the 7th century BC when it was founded by the Phoenicians.
