The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has officially approved the Libyan international referees list for 2026. This list is among the approved rosters that will represent Libyan refereeing in regional, continental, and international tournaments and competitions during the upcoming season.
The list includes a number of prominent names in Libyan refereeing across various specializations, as follows:
Field Referees: Mu’taz Al-Shalmani, Abdulwahid Hraywidah, Muhammad Al-Shahoumi, Ahmed Al-Shalmani, Abdulbaset Shahub, and Muhammad Al-Zarrouq.
Assistant Referees: Majdi Kamel, Bassem Saif Al-Nasr, Munji Bushkiwah, Hassan Al-Toumi, Salem Al-Murakabi, and Muhammad Al-Teir.
Video Assistant Referees (VAR): Mu’taz Al-Shalmani and Ahmed Al-Shalmani.

Futsal Referees: Ali Bushkiwah, Rafi’ Al-Houti, and Muhammad Al-Sirtawi.
Beach Soccer Referees: Hussein Al-Ajni, Ayoub Al-Ferjani, Abdulmun’im Busalu’ah, Munther Al-Abeidi, and Abdulmajeed Al-Sagheer.
The approval of the list crowns the efforts made by Libyan referees to develop their technical and physical levels.
