Tripoli Airport

Tripoli Airport, also known as Mitiga International Airport, is the primary airport serving Libya’s capital. It originally opened as a United States Air Force base in the 1920s before being converted for civilian use. The airport has been significantly impacted by conflict during and following the 2011 Libyan Civil War.
