Tripoli, December 26, 2025 – The Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity announced that, in coordination with the General Command of the Libyan Army, an official memorial ceremony for Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad and his companions will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at its headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, in accordance with established military traditions and protocols.
The Ministry clarified in a statement this Friday evening that an official military reception ceremony will be held upon the arrival of the martyrs’ remains at exactly 10:00 AM, in accordance with the approved protocol and to reinforce the values of discipline and belonging, which these leaders worked to establish and implement, and to honor those who gave their lives for the nation.
