Tripoli, January 29, 2026 – The Illegal Immigration Control Agency deported (48) migrants of Egyptian nationality via Mitiga International Airport on Thursday.

The agency stated in a release that these migrants were residing at a shelter east of Tripoli. Among them were individuals referred by the Illegal Immigration Prosecution and others with security restrictions, necessitating their deportation and removal for non-compliance with the laws in force in the Libyan state.
