At least 15 people were killed on Friday when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine on a highway in western Guatemala, according to rescue personnel.
A spokesperson for volunteer firefighters stated, “There are 15 fatalities in this road accident.”
It was noted that approximately 20 injured people were transported to hospitals near the accident site. Among the deceased were 11 men, three women, and one minor.

The bus fell into a ravine approximately 75 meters deep for reasons that remain unknown.
